Welcome to WBA News

Jesus Christ is Lord!

We had a good trustee meeting
(Sunday, Aug 9) at our camp Rockridge, near Franklin. The trustees unanimously voted to call interim camp director, David Jackson, as full-time camp director. Brother Jackson & team have worked so hard and have done such a remarkable job, that the trustees felt that he should be allowed to stay in the job as long as he feels able to do it. He and his extended family, along with staff worked extra hard this summer through the 9 weeks of summer camps.

There is still much to be done and there are many things the camp needs. Right now they are looking for 2 golf carts to be donated. If your church would like to take on a work project at Rockridge, please contact Director Jackson. Visit the new Rockridge website at:
www.rockridgeassembly.com.

God truly blessed our WBA's camp this year. Several young people made first-time decisions for Christ! Dr. Paul Dennis and team did a great job. Praise the Lord!

GOOD NEWS!! A lot of hungry folks showed up last night at Chick-fil-a in Newnan in support of "the Gathering"...and one young lady prayed to receive Christ! Thank you for supporting this fund-raising effort!

  1. First Baptist of Grantville was overflowing with people for two hours straight. They had a commodities truck come. Pastor Ed thought they were only going to give half the food out but I believe that they just about gave it all out. First Baptist Grantville is looking like it is growing again. Praiae God!
31 Days of Preaching going well. We are worshiping God in music and gettig to hear the Word twice a night. The Word is so addicting that we have had a couple of Bible studies afterwards. Double Praise!!

  2. Pray, Pray, Pray for the Gathering coming on August 29th. Pray for Pastor Brian Hosmer and Pastor Joe Payton as they lead the charge of ministry this day. We serve an awsome and mighty God and He is still in the business of changing lives. I believe God wants to turn this community upside down with the revival spawned by the team of ministers being obedient to Gods call in the planing of the Gathering. Be at Royal Baptist on August 13th @ 6:00 pm and get trained as a counselor for this event. Go ahead and give God His Glory for the work He has done and plans to do.
